Who We Are Looking For:

Inside Sales Representative assertive, motivated individuals who have a proven sales track record and who are willing to be an integral part of a growing company. This is a goal-driven environment and salespeople are expected to meet minimum daily outbound call volume that translates into viable sales.

The successful candidate will be a “hunter” by nature, seeking and cultivating new business. Our expectation is that individuals will possess sales and business skills that will translate into a long term employment, with the opportunity to elevate to a future management role of existing or new markets and products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Cold and warm calling to potential and/or established customers on a daily basis
  • Setting up sales leads and closing sales over the phone
  • Ability to handle heavy phone work and provide top-notch service
  • Drive a sense of urgency in accounts to speed up purchasing decisions, including payment
  • Enter all data regarding calls made in our data management system, track sales and follow-through with customers
  • Work closely with Sales Director to develop sales pipeline and provide solid leads for closing sales across multiple advertising opportunities
  • Engage professionally and effectively with sales team, graphics, marketing and management
  • Provide professional service to new and existing customers via excellent verbal and written communication
  • Research leads online and be able to uncover new sources efficiently

Ideal Inside Sales Representative Qualifications Include:

  • MINIMUM of 5+ years sales experience, 3+ years Inside sales preferably telephone sales with a one-call closing or short sales cycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with great listening skills
  • Assertive and competitive nature with motivation to succeed
  • Demonstrate ability to close sales and overcome customer objections
  • Sense of urgency and can-do attitude
  • Team player with the balance of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Performs well under stress and recovers well from setbacks
  • Optimize call time to drive daily productivity

  • Previous media sales experience preferred

Opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to be part of a dynamic and experienced team. Entry level position that provides training and the opportunity to advance quickly with the potential to become more than just a job and develop into a career. Ideal position for an individual who is looking for a long-term career in professional business-to-business sales.

This position is hourly ($15- $17 per hour) plus commission. Multiple shifts available. Monday thru Friday.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential new clients and target accounts.
  • Create new sales opportunities through outbound calling to our qualified database of sales contacts.
  • Contact targeted organizations by telephone, generating interest and arranging demonstrations or meetings with prospective clients.
  • Building lists using custom internet searching tools to find high quality prospects.
  • Promote and create interest in our products and services to existing customers.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate the advantages and benefits of our products and programs.
  • Adjust sales scripts accordingly to better target the needs and interests of prospective clients.
  • Appropriate professional follow-up via email and written communication.
  • Maintain and update the documentation of prospects accurately with current informationinfo into Salesforce.
  • Achieve targets set on a consistent basis.
  • Report activity and results on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with high volume outboundcalling in a sales or marketing environment.
  • Bachelor’ s degree preferred (or equivalent experience) in business, marketing, sales or a related area.
  • Exceptionally organized, results driven and persuasive about helping businesses grow and build brand awareness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with great listening skills.
  • Be outgoing and friendly with a high energy level.
  • Team player able to adapt within a successful team.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with a positive attitude.
  • Outstanding computer skills and the ability to master new software quickly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce preferred.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to and assist the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager in both day-to-day responsibilities and larger scope projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all digital media i.e. Dealer and 3rd Party Websites, Local Listings, SEO, SEM, Display, Social, Reputation, other. The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Sr. Digital Manager and Director to understand, execute and evaluate all digital programs and initiatives.

  • Experience with Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot, or other digital marketing automation and email marketing platforms preferred
  • Experience with digital marketing analytics, including Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, a plus
  • Strategically build, manage, and optimize search engine marketing campaigns
  • Analyze campaign performance and make statistically stable/relevant optimizations & recommendations
  • Closely monitor search performance and spend levels
  • Report performance data and supply analysis to improve performance
  • Build out and manage media orders per client approved flowchart
  • Perform market research, trend and competitive analysis, as well as provide views on emerging technologies & marketing opportunities
  • Analyze online data using various analytical tools to uncover trends as well as provide insight that will maximize search marketing efforts
  • Manage and grow Direct Response campaigns, optimizing to goal Cost Per Action / Conversion volume
  • Use statistically stable/relevant data to make optimizations and client recommendations
  • Forecast budgets, campaign size and conduct keyword research
  • Provide support for other areas of marketing as needed
  • Manage client relationships and educate clients on the search marketplace
  • Attain Google AdWords Certification if not already on resume
  • Build out accounts from the ground up, tightly organizing campaigns and ad groups by keyword relevancy

  • Create graphics or short videos for distribution on our social channels.
  • Assist in editing content on our website for clarity and for SEO.
  • Keep an eye on analytics and trends on social media and the web to help direct Fine Gardening digital content creation.

Qualifications:

  • Hands on knowledge of social media platforms; primarily Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  • Experience working with social media management systems such as Social Flow, Hootsuite, and/or Later.com
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and PremierePro.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other metrics analyzers such as Facebook Insights.
  • Minimum 1 years proven knowledge of Google AdWords and Current AdWords Certification required. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing technologies, including targeting, website analytics, and media tracking tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of optimizing campaign structures & bidding strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, including data manipulation and campaign performance analysis skills
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency managing Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and YouTube.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a social media following
  • Analytical experience with ability to interpret data to improve performance
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Meltwater, Sprout Social, Sprinkler, or another social media publishing tool.

Responsibilities:

  • Content strategy: Create and manage the content strategy and calendar – linking content and business development goals
  • Content creation: Lead content creation and execution across social, blog, and other relevant distribution channels
  • Social media: Handle content planning, scheduling, and posting on all social media channels (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and Instagram)
  • Craft detailed campaign briefs that provide relevant information to other team members for email promotions, website updates, PR, social media, and more
  • Performance monitoring and reporting: Set, monitor (and beat!) KPIs across channels and recommend tactics to make improvements

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE: This internship has a focus in Sales activities surrounding Search Engine Marketing & Optimization, Web Design, and Marketing Campaign development. Participants in this program will receive hands on experience. Interns will build skills and begin to understand trends and technology that will give them a great foundation for a career in sales and digital marketing industry.

QUALIFICATIONS: This is an unpaid internship and all interns must be  student (open to all majors) and receive college credits for their internship. Interns must be at least 18 years of age and have a reliable source of transportation to work in our office. Telecommuting is not an option.

OPPORTUNITIES: Internships are available year-round and hours vary from 10-20 per week. Specific days and times will be agreed upon in advance.

DIGITAL MARKETING: Daily activities for this internship can include (but not necessarily be limited to) research, campaign development, search engine marketing/optimization planning and execution, as well as assisting other departments with projects on an as-needed basis.

SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Interns will assist sales staff, participate in sales training meetings, sales research, campaign building, campaign reporting and learn all steps of the sales process.
